It works on electromagnetic induction and consists of conductive coils through which current is passing, this current generates a magnetic field which on interaction with metal objects gives an audio signal to show the presence of metal items. Metal Detector Gate is the best solution to scan a large queue of people to reduce waiting time. The current coils are highly conductive which enhances its ability to generate uniform magnetic field.
